Laneway Learning Sunday Spectacular!
On Sunday 16th June, Laneway Learning is hosting it’s first ever Sunday Spectacular – a one-off event to share knowledge and raise money for charity.
At the Sunday Spectacular Laneway Learning will be bringing together our community of passionate knowledge seekers and sharers for a day-long festival of learning. On the day there will be a combination of scheduled, bookable classes and casual ‘drop-in clinics’, all to be lead by many of the amazing people who have taught classes with them this year, and everyone is welcome to come along.
The learning festivities will run from 11am to 5pm on the 16th June, and they will be taking over Somerset Place for the duration of the event. At the Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) and Gallery One Three, there will be back-to-back Laneway Learning classes on everything from Anthropology to Neuroplasticity. While at The Little Mule and Captains of Industry experts will be available on a more casual basis to teach you how to do cryptic crosswords, taste wine and keep bees, among many other things.
All proceeds from the day will help fund projects in rural and regional Australia that have been conceived by young Australians to benefit their local community. The specific projects will be selected and supported by the FYA through their ‘Change It Up’ program.
